Bought one of each to try as they were in the sale and I don't have a decent jacket. They both fit the same and seem to be for the same purpose/temp ranges. Any views on which is better? Did some research on here and some say the MORTIROLO is too hot? Im not a fair weather rider and will venture out in the cold and rain from time to time but not when its stupid cold or icy

New model Mortirolo? (4)? If so they both have an identical temp range. Keep the cheapest one (the Velocissimo)My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

Yes the 4 - the Velocissimo looks nicer but the Mortirolo is a nicer colour! Both the same price give or take a few quid!0 -
I'm very happy with my Mortirolo. It's my go-to winter jacket for anything between 0-10 degrees. The zipped vents work well if you need to cool down for a bit. Reassuringly cosy on very cold days without overheating. Wish the pockets were a touch bigger, but I think that about all my Castelli tops.0
