Looking for a quick way to download some routes from Peaslake / Surrey Hills onto my iphone and to use it to search my way around - any suggestions gratefully received

View Ranger, has footpath etc, MTB magazine has some preloaded maps for Surrey Hills on there

Have you tried "maps.me" app on your phone? I struggled massively getting routes and maps to work, but managed to use maps.me with routes from www.ridwithgps.com.

    1. Install the Maps.Me App
    2. Browse on your phone to a particular route from www.ridewithgps.com (I found a specific route first on my pc/laptop and emailed the link it to myself)
    3. On right hand side, click "export" and select "google earth (kml)" which should prompt you to open with Maps.me
    4. Download the relevant mapped area to your phone before you leave

Then you can follow a route, look at all the paths in the area etc, all without any data usage / wifi required (I use my old phone which has no sim in it)
