MOTHERF**KERS

Why can't people ride on the right side of the f**king cycle path?! *****

So, completely t-boned this morning, full force into my front wheel sideways. I really hope it's not potatoed, but it's a good inch buckled while rolling. Any hard and fast rules to check?

1 inch is repairable unless there is a distinct kink in the rim.
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

Thanks. Loosen all spokes, try and re-flatten the rim on a flat surface and then re-true?

Take to LBS, hand over some quids, get them to sort it.

Doesn't need to be kinked and small kinks can often just be tapped out with a block of wood.
If the wheel has taken on a potato chip shape, it has failed and needs replacement.
There is no way to straighten a rim like that and still have any sort of reasonable spoke tension.
