Shimano Di2 battery check

I apologize if the subject has been already covered on here before, but I figure it'd be faster to post than search through dozens of threads. YouTube videos did not answer my question. I have a new bike with the Shimano Dura Ace 9070 Di2 groupset on it. When I hold one of the shifters down, the battery life indicator light comes on and holds steady green for about 2 seconds, but immediately after the green light goes off, the adjustment light right next to it flashes red for about a second. I just charged the battery after getting the bike, and the sequence keeps repeating when I hold one of the shifters down. Does anyone know why the red adjustment light comes on?
