HRM/Cadence sensors to use with Strava iPhone App?

Any recommendations? when I google it can only find the Wahoo full bike computer

In fact does strava even record cadence? If not, just HRM would be good.

I know I should get a Garmin/proper bike computer, but cannot be arsed with uploading from a third party device (and love the simplicity of being on the phone)

A Garmin or Wahoo will auto upload to Strava if that is what you want it to do?

If you have a Samsung then they can use ant+ or Bluetooth devices. Just download the plugin from the play store.

I think the latest iPhone can maybe use both as well.

I believe for older iPhones you can only use Bluetooth devices.

My S7 has Ant+ with no need for plugins but I have a Garmin 820 so use my phone for music where it's safe to do so and have my 820 tell me how slowly I'm going through the earphones.

Strava works with my Polar H7 monitor and my Lidl, rebadged Wahoo cadence sensor. This is on Android.
