Giro Empire vs. SLX vs. ACC

I think I would like to get some more stylish shoes than my current dhb R1.0 and I really like the look of the Empire range.
Has anyone tried different shoes in this range and could perhaps offer some input on what the actual difference is? I'm not too concerned about the £15 price difference.
I was looking at the Empire SLX mainly, it looks like a nice breathable and stylish shoe.

Get the Factors; laces on cycling shows are a stupid idea.0

I have the SLX and love them - very light, and the laces let you adjust the fit very effectively. Had SIDI Genius and Wire before and don't miss them.0

Shoes are rarely too warm in a British summer. So, don't worry about that. Your dhb will be ok with suitable socks. But, yes, the SLX will be fine as well. They're sufficiently breathable. My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)
