Reverb issue.

Hi all,

I've bought my old reverb back off a friend. Now it's pretty much brand new and had little use.

So before fitting it I pumped it up to 250psi, fitted the seat but pressing the button and the seat wouldn't budge. It was rock solid. I adjusted the speed setting at the button right to the slowest setting and it works. Goes down no probs but as it's on the slowest setting it's slow coming back up.

I turned the speed a click or two and nothing, its solid again.

Now I thought maybe it's because I've pumped it up to much. I've let the pressure drop to 200 and then 150 and it's worse.

Before I do a bleed do you think that's the issue? It simply just needs bleeding?

Would be great for some help.

Thanks

Dan

    Seatclamp too tight?

  • Thought that. Tried it without the clamp tightened and astil the same. It also works on the slowest setting it just doing fmwork for any other settings.

Wonder if it's air in the system messing it up.

Will try bleeding but thought I'd ask incase it could be something else.
