Giant slr contact OD2 stem

I currently have the stock giant alloy OD2 stem fitted to my defy advanced pro, it is the only area on the bike that I have noticed any flex, mainly during out of the saddle efforts. I would like to switch from a 110mm to a 110mm stem and wondered if the carbon version would stiffen the front end up more. Can any riders currently using the slr contact stem vouch for this upgrade?     My guess is the flex is from the bars rather than th stem

    If not try the Zipp SL-OS stem. Massively stiff.
