Strip and rebuild or buy a new bike?!

I have a Planet X Superlight Alu framed bike built up with Fulcrum 3's and veloce gearing.
It was built way back in 2010 and never ridden, just hung on a hook in my garage. Due to my complete niaveity at the time it was built on a really small frame (seat tube and top tube seem to be 52cm.... and its never going to fit me.
I have been looking around for a frame to swap it over onto, I was looking at Ti but in doing so I am watching some nice Van Nicholas bikes on ebay that are complete bikes and I would be left with a parts dilemma (really nice 105 geared Van N on there just now).
I reckon I am more suited to a 56cm frame, having now understood better the mechanics of fit, bar drop and comfort.
What would you guys do? strip the planet x frame and use the bits on something else? look for a complete bike and sell the PX complete?
Thanks in advance for your valuable advice!

If a new bike is out of reach in terms of cost I'd certainly strip it of the parts you want to keep and build a bike you can ride. Otherwise strip it and sell it. You'd get decent money for the 105s if they're new-ish.0

Buy a new whizzy whizzy bike that fits you.
Then strip all the bits off and get a frame that fits you in the sales/clearance and fit those bits onto it.
Sell P/X frame as they make brilliant crit bikes.

Most ti frames uses a threaded bbso your veloce chainset will no problem. So buying a frame is a good idea. It is the best way to buy a bike anyway as you get what you want.http://www.thecycleclinic.co.uk -wheel building and other stuff.0

Pop the unused Veloce on a new ti frame and sorted. P/X frame gets sold to offset costs.Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

If the chainset is one of the Veloce "Power Torque" ones, good luck with getting it off!
Might be easier to sell the bike complete.0
