Is the Raleigh Revenio 2 any good for a beginner? seen one near me and been offered it for £170, looks in great condition and the size suits as well.

I won a Revenio 1 in a raffle. I exchanged it for the Capri 1 for my wife (its the womans version of the Revenio). The bike is pretty good. Aluminum frame and the Revenio 2 has the carbon fork. It does have lower end components on it and it might be a 9 speed rear but all-in-all I would say that its a good all-round bike and great for a beginner. Make sure the size is correct, wrong size bike sucks to ride.

For that money and as a starter bike you wont go far wrong as long as in good nick. Try knocking them down a bit if you can.
Too many bikes according to Mrs O.
