Might as well get this thread going whilst I have time.

The 75th edition of the 'Race to the Sun' starts this Sunday (5th March).

There are 8 stages ending with an alternative to the usual finish in Nice on 12th March.

Mercifully (for me at least) there is no prologue this year so we get straight underway with a road stage around Bois d’Arcy. From there, there should be opportunities for the sprinters before a 14.5km time-trial up Mont Brouilly. Following that, things appear to get hillier to the extent that the race reaches the highest summit in it's history on the Col de la Couillole, at 1,678m to end Stage 7.

Plenty of big names already declared as riding including Contador, Bardet, Valverde, Porte, Greipel, Bouhanni and Kittel

You can have a look at the official website here: http://www.letour.fr/paris-nice/2017/us/
Provisional startlist (which is subject to updates) here: http://www.procyclingstats.com/race/Par ... _Startlist

Usual rules apply and I will put an update up each night hopefully.
