I'm putting out a Missing Pro Alert for Betancur

He was last seen racing in Abu Dhabi last Oct. If anyone knows where he is, please tell him to get in touch. We wont be angry, we just want to know he's safe.

    He's meant to be racing at Strade Bianche at the weekend. No sign of him at yesterday's Colombian nationals though.

    So an update, Betancur started at both Strade Bianche and the GP Industria and Artigianato at the weekend. He was a DNF in both.

    The rumours that Movistar have been getting Evgeni Berzin to pre-wear Betancur's kit are just scurrilous gossip I believe.

    With carlos betencour looking like that; it gives me hope that i one day too might be able to climb (to the pie shop above the cafe.)

    You have to feel for him a bit though, clearly the guy is struggling with something.

    Frankly, I find Movistar's short length more upsetting.

    Industria is a race that he should've excelled on, but Carapaz was given the nod to go for it.

    Shows just how far Betancur's stock has fallen. He'll be riding for Androni or similar next year, if anyone.
