Dry here currently but got the start of man flu so no running or cycling today
As the wife is now off for a few weeks today will involve prepping the bathroom for her to paint
Later is the rugby and the pub - maybe together if I can convince the wife to drive (local doesn't show any sport)0 -
I rode my bike today. First time this year. Meant having a snooze in the sun and a swim afterwards to recover.
Caught up on some work, done a bunch of chores round the house, dinner of green curry chicken coming up. Back to the asylum tomorrow. :roll:Open One+ BMC TE29 Seven 622SL On One Scandal Cervelo RS0 -
Ciao
Cold and wet here now I'm back in Blighty so a bit of coffee, pancakes and Nina Simone before I go and do a weights easy before a posh lunch for my birthday.
Will then pump up tires ready for tomorrow's cycle.

Smorgastastic thank you. Utterly brilliant trip, the Helgas were mighty fine, really lovely hotel, although minus 10 + most days felt warmer than here (different types of cold I think).
Very very recommended.
And, like most things, ended up hanging with a brilliantly lovely and mad couple who love 15 mins from work.
TDV has adopted Slavic ways upon return, which is nice.
Have carried on chilled feeling through the weekend
How are you lot doing?Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

Going all the way to Sweden and hanging out with some Rost Biffs?!
When Chicken is green, it's time to bin it surely?
Ewan is rolling in. Guess it's the soft play area for me and the toots today.

Morning folks,
Traditional slow start has been had, tea drunk followed by more tea now got the coffee on. Bike fettling is needed, guards refitting to the CX communter and puncture repairing on the pub hack. Other than that a bit of feeling sorry for myself as the cough I've had since Christmas has ramped up and has found a friend to play with so man flu is coming on strong.0 -

You go out on your bike and you post here. I get the feeling that you think that if you aren't cycling, then you haven't the right to post?

Laters.
Well, not really hanging out - 2 beers and a breakfast as we were staying at the same hotel and one day a huuuuge storm kicked in to the point where even the locals started to batten down the hatches. Other 6 3/4 days were spent with locals who are utterly charming, witty, devastatingly good looking and detest Trump/Farage more than I do, which is saying something.
Not one of those "track down your fellow countrymen and only hang out with them" kinda people I'm afraid.Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

Delicious food, wine, amaretto, coffee followed by Italy briefly leading against the English - ITV rugby commentary is as biased and shiiit as their football commentary.
Now to recline and snooze.Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

Castelli Sorpasso bib tights apparently. Although, 'Sportful' is the same company and you can get the same stuff for 20% less under that brand name.
I believe that Sportful are the parent company. Their stuff is qite decent.0 -
Woke up feeling a bit fuzzy on account of roo much reed wine and cider. But made it to the lifts in time for them to open at 9 and skied hard till gone 5. Weather great and loads of snow 8)
Will head down to the hotel pool and sauna in a bit then it's out for beer and good Raclette, aka death by cheese..."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -
