Colnago or Canyon?

Hi folks, new on here so be kind!
I'm looking for a new bike, going for women specific as I think I need the shorter reach etc.
Been looking at the colnago CLD and the canyon ultimate cf sl 9.
My problem is that there's little to no reviews on these bikes and obviously with canyon selling direct from manufacturer I can't go and have a try. I live in rural Scotland so pretty much no scope to go and look and the colnago either as so dealers nearby.
Just wondered if anyone had any thoughts or advice?
Thanks!!!

Hi. There are quite a few reviews out there for the Canyon, although these are for the 'male' version but the bike is essentially the same.

In my opinion the Canyon will offer better value, but you have the potential issues of mail order to deal with, delivery delays etc.0 -
I have had a few colnago frames but the Italian made one's (C50, 59, 60 etc). I have not seen a CLD specifically but have had a ride on a couple of the other Taiwan made models. To be honest they are decent enough bikes IME but nothing special. I would go for a canyon over the colnago (can't believe I am saying that!) as you get better spec for the price and I think their frames are a little higher quality than the lower end colnago offerings.0

I bought a Canyon CF SL frame for my wife. not the women specific version and she loves it. The frame arrived a week early last July. I bought two extra different length stems and sent back the two unwanted ones. I ride a Colnago but a top of the range made Italy version and I am considering changing it for a Canyon SLX disc.Pegoretti
