Hello I'm brand new to road cycling but have been mountain biking years.

I am looking to buy my first road bike (beyond what we called racers when I was a kid) and want something of a 'do it all' for training, long rides and something fast.

I've had a look in the LBS and the Cube Attain SLR has caught my attention - both the rim and disc break versions.

Is this considered a decent buy or are there others for similar money I should also be looking at?

I'm not a cyclist build - 5'7" and 85kg. 48 years old with decent fitness levels (for my age).

Thanks
