I have put my measurements in on Canyon website which they suggested a Medium
I completed a online fit which gave me the following rom my measurments
Actual Inseam84 Cm
Trunk71 Cm
Forearm38 Cm
Arm76 Cm
Thigh61 Cm
Lower Leg56 Cm
Sternal Notch152 Cm
Total Height183 Cm
Suggested fit:
Top Tube Length 59.7 - 60.1 Cm
Seat Tube Range CC 55.6 - 56.1 Cm
Seat Tube Range CT 57.3 - 57.8 Cm
Stem Length 11.5 - 12.1 Cm
BB Saddle Position 74.6 - 76.6 Cm
Saddle Handlebar 60.4 - 61 Cm
Saddle Setback 6.2 - 6.6 Cm
Seatpost Type Setback
However looking at the Endurance CF SL 8.0 Disc https://www.canyon.com/en-gb/road/endurace/endurace-cf-sl-disc-8-0.html
This then shows an XL by going for the top tube or am i missing something?

I bought a couple of Canyons last year - pretty much the same bike as you mention (Endurance SLX). There was only one measurement that mattered. Height.
All of the other measurements could be moved around and made absolutely no difference to the frame size it suggested. I would go by whatever reach/stack you think you would need.
Alternatively other people have rang Canyon and been advised to buy the size they thought they needed all along. Going against the sizing tool.
Unfortunately I'm nowhere near you height wise. I'm 172cm (5' 8") and was borderline XS according to the sizing tool! The S fits perfectly as I knew it would.0 -
Well i mailed them and still saying it is a Medium so will see how it goes, i can always ut it back assuming it even gets delivered0
-
I am in the same dilemma with this. I am about to pull the trigger on an Ultimate CF 8.0 and was sure i'd need a medium.
I am 5'11 (180cm) with a 81cm inseam - it seems i have short legs for my height! When i put my details in the Canyon sizing tool it recommends a small.
I purchased a mountain bike from them a couple of years ago and went with a medium when again was suggested i get a small. I have been very happy with the sizing of that bike. But this time I contacted their chat help team and they are saying a small is definitely right for me given my measurements.
Decisions :roll:Canyon Endurace CF SL 9.0 Ultegra di2

Dawes Super Galaxy0 -
I think you've mismeasured your arm length, which is why you're getting such long TT from the competitive cyclist calculator.
Taking an estimate for arm length more in proportion with your torso suggests that a Medium is the right option
Results based on a sport oriented fit0 -
If it helps, I'm 6ft and wear 32" leg jeans. Canyon Ultimate Large. Perfect fit.Trainer Road Blog: https://hitthesweetspot.home.blog/

Some people think their bike is a perfect fit and yet ride round with their bars higher than the saddle with a flipped stem, levers pointing to the sky, and a saddle pointing at the front wheel hub.0 -

Finding this a bit disconcerting.
Curently ride a Supersix Evo, 54cm. No issues with comfort though, I guess, my saddle isn't as high as it would be on a smaller frame.
Looking at an Endurace. Every measurement makes me a Small frame unless I add 4-5cm to my height. That's the only time it changes.
Only issue with the small frame is 90cm stem and 40cm bars (can live with the 170 cranks I think)
Inseam is 32 inches. 5ft 10. In proportion.
Help! Do I just accept what Canyon say?
If it helps I am now also riding an Equilibrium Disc in small with more seat post showing than on my SupersixMy blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

It depends on how many spacers your Supersix has, as well as the stem length
Endurace M is 30mm taller than the 54 SS
Even the small you would be slamming the stem and only lengthening by 10mm. Note that the front centre is the same as the SS but chainstays are longer so you will have marginally more weight on the front wheel on the Canyon0 -
100mm stem and most of the original spacers on the six. I'd imagine 30mm?My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

Measure from the top of the headtube to the base of the stem (so include the conical headset cover). If that number is 39 you would go to a medium Endurace with a slammed 100mm stem on a 9mm headset cover (and have a 2mm reach difference). If it is a little lower it's up to you which way to go. Either fits you nicely. Medium will likely handle better.0

Asesome, ta for that. Will measure later on.My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

50mm spacers and 85mm from heatube to top of stem.
So, slam a medium? My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

I didn't set the system up to go as high as 50mm of spacers as most forks are rated to 45mm. So we'll just add 5mm to the 627mm Bar Y target
The Canyon usually has an Acros 'the clamp' headset, which is 16mm tall. So one 5mm spacer on top of that will get you exactly the same height and within 2mm on reach.
Worth noting the reach of your bar hoods - if you have cannondale C3 bars they're listed as 90mm. Canyon H17 are 70mm. So you would need to take account of that. With the warning that it's hard to get good information on the Cannondale bars, so maybe measure them yourself first. I'm fairly certain the C3 is a open mould bar and the factory list the reach as 85mm...
If you don't have Cannondale bars - find the reach of what you've got and compare to the 70mm of the Canyon0 -
Ta very much. The Cannondale bars do have quite a long reach.
I think, at the moment, I'm leaning towards a small with a 110mm stem. And I may ask them to swap to 42 bars.My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

120mm stem to make up for bar reach difference unless you wish to shorten up...0

I'm 183cm and a medium is perfect for me. Always better to go with a smaller frame and wack on a longer stem IMO...0

Slightly odd system. You have to order, have it shipped, ask for the longer stem, receive it, send the old one back. But that's ok.My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

This is exactly what I had to do, note they don't charge for the replacement stem but it will cost you postage to send original one back. I paid £7 via parcel2go. Note you might get an invoice for new stem but ignore it(I did and contacted them about it).0 -

It's a slightly weird system but, I guess, it makes matters easier and cheaper. My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)
