Quick question, need some information and help getting a GPS device.

Need one for navigating on foot and garmin fenix 3 definitely stands out, but it has a lot of features that I don't need or have specific devices already for ie garmin 500 ect.

Other option is foretrex 401,as it has long bat life of 18 hours and ofc lot cheaper! Issue is I don't think it supports GLONASS...

Any other suggestions or help cheers

For foot I would go for a Garmin eTrex or GPSMap 64 series unit. I have a GPSMap unit for hiking. It is easy to use with gloves on and I clip it to my backpack so it is easily accessible. Both of those run on AA batteries so power is easy to obtain.
