Hi all,
I am looking to upgrade from my Giant Fastroad hybrid with Tiagra kit to possibly the BMC Team Machicne Alr01 ultegra , also looking at the Eastway Emitter R2 ultegra.
I know I will need to ride them and see how they feel to me but would appreciate the thoughts of experts.
I mainly ride round the Peak District and looking to do more sportives now I am growing out of my hybrid
Thanks in advance!

I own a BMC, bit of a fan, but I'd choose the Eastway - it weighs 1kg less, is carbon and has better wheels. I ended up riding with a guy at the Prudential 100 who was on an Eastway - looked nice and it was going fast!0

I'm a bmc fan but in terms of the kit on a like for like, the eastway has better wheels and finishing kit. that said the BMC is a very good frame.0

Eastway, I have an older alloy one but always gets compliments, plus as mentioned the wheels an finishing kit are nicer0

Try both and see which one you like?
For the money I probably go Eastway.0
