Advice on 2 steel bikes on eBay

Hi all
Thinking of adding a steel bike to go alongside my CAAD8 105. I've been looking at ebay and wondered if these are any good? Just want something cheap that I can lock up but also go on a few longer rides to give my other bike a bit of a rest from time to time.

I like the look of the Ridgeback as it looks a bit more relaxed, but don't really know anything about the company or if either bike was decent when new.

They both look about 20 years old at least given they have quill stems and down tube levers.0
