Garvity dropper turbo noise issue

Hi ,
I got a new Gravity Dropper but It makes a very loud popping noise when I unweight the saddle in its middle and lower positions that I am not sure is normal or not . I don't know anyone else who owns one to ask ,
It makes this loud pop/knock sound when I take my weight off the saddle while the post is in either of it's lower positions, like when stand up on the pedals or to get behind the saddle . It's like there is a bit of play in an up down direction for the lower positions and when the spring is uncompressed by my weight lifting up it pops the post up a fraction.It's kind of irritating but I could get used to it if I know it is just part of how the post operates .It doesnt happen when the post is at its top position . If it's not supposed to be happening it will be sent back . So if anyone else who uses one can tell me if it happens with theirs then It would be much appreciated.
