Is it going to be in some unintelligible strange foreign language, or in Welsh?
It's only a bit of sport, Mun. Relax and enjoy the racing.

I'm one of those immigrants that never bothers to learn the local language.

I've got even less excuse - I was born here and dropped it at school as soon as I could

My Welsh Teacher when I said I was doing French said 'I can't see you going much further than Cardiff'. I showed her - Penarth is amazing...

I'm from the generation where the Welsh language was for a select few North Wallian arsonists so was never taught it, I can read it well enough to sing the words in my choir but that's about it! Will try to catch it if possible though, it will probably have subtitles available.

Doull needs to pick a language and stick to it. You can't be changing mid sentence all the time.

  • Here it is http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p04qpchw/new-medal-aur-owain-doull.

By my calculation the pro peloton will be 100% Welsh by 2039 if the current rate continues.

im English , but would like to be able to speak welsh . love listening to people talking welsh .
  • I live in Chester, which is perilously close to the border. You get "those types" getting lost and coming over to England now and again, and the train to Manchester and back says "Manceinion" and "Caer" on the front

A little bit 'un-PC' but his chopping in and out of Welsh/English had the missus and me in stitches..

That aside was a decent documentary, even if a little lightweight.

Paul Whitehouse (who is Welsh) has said that Julio Geordio was largely based on Welsh speakers randomly using English phrases while speaking Welsh
