Camera Bag

I'm taking a few days riding in France in the summer and I'll be watching a Tour stage so I've decided I need a new camera bag for an SLR and two lenses. Any recommendations?
I've got a couple of Crumpler dedicated slings (Page 3 Stunnah and Log Schlong) and a half and half rucksack (Big Boy) but none of them are ideal. I've also got a couple of Timbuk2 messenger bags that I can shove a padded camera sack inside and I generally use them what walking around.
However, I prefer a rucksack for cycling and all of them suffer from the fact that getting a camera out of them involves taking them off and rummaging around inside.
So I've been looking at the Mindshift Rotation180 16L http://www.mindshiftgear.com/products/rotation180-trail which looks like a good solution, but it's expensive and you have to do up the waist strap for it to work. Probably have to do it in order to stop the camera falling out. I'm not a fan of waist straps.
Also, it's a glorified bum bag and I don't even wear crocs.
So, any alternative recommendations?

When tougin, do yourself a favour and get some panniers to save your back. And put the camera in a bar bag if you need a big DSLR that is quickly accessible.0 -
I use a Lowepro Slingshot - it can be accessed without taking it off, by slipping it round your body until it is in front of you for access to the compartments. I haven't used it on a bike but have walked miles with it - it is comfortable enough, easy to access and there are various sizes to accommodate your stuff.Cube Reaction GTC Pro 29 for the lumpy stuff
Cannondale Synapse alloy with 'guards for the winter roads
Fuji Altamira 2.7 for the summer roads

I have panniers but this time round we won't be touring; staying at a mate's house and the race goes straight past. I'll only be doing around 30 mile round trip with the camera and I'm looking for something I can use off the bike as well.Mud - Genesis Vapour CCX

Ah - fair enough - I totally misread your first post, thought you were touring.0 -
Edit.just seen the dates.
I have the old version of this Lowepro fast pack 250.
You can get the camera out of the side by taking one shoulder strap off.
Its great quality and not exorbitantly expensive.
