Rounded off cleat bolts

In an effort to replace the worn cleats on my shoes I've managed to round off all 3 bolts in one of the shoes.

With a hacksaw I've cut a groove in all 3 bolts and tried to undo them with a flat headed screwdriver - which I think will work apart from I need a bigger headed screwdriver as the biggest I have is slipping thanks to the hex hole.

My dad has a screw extractor kit which I could also use if stuck or are there any other tips people have?

Just cut the cleats off from around them - as soon as the tension is off they will undoubtedly with manual pressure/pair of pliers.

Just use a hacksaw - nothing else needed.

Use this as an excuse to buy some shiny new £300 carbon soled shoes

    This.

When I had the same problem (I think the first thing I ever posted on BR about!), I found it a bit easier to use just the junior hacksaw blade. Fire some WD40 into the threads and leave to soak in then, if necessary, take the molegrips to it. Then, when you fit your new ones - USE COPASLIP or equivalent and you'll never have the problem again!
