Sat in departures at Bham. Forgot my specs.
Eyes seem to get worse every day older I become.
Borrowed wife's glasses to type this. If it's gobbledegook, mea culpa.0 -

Missus was making noises about going back to Barbados so I booked up quick to save some brass.
Missus reckons I' m tight though. :shock:0 -

Morning, had a fun weekend of getting drunk and packing all our stuff, interspersed with some car dealership browsing to replace the GFs exploded car. Went out in a surprisingly well priced Fabia vRS, unsurprisingly she saw how much I was enjoying the 0-60 in 7 seconds and vetoed it instantly. Now we have ended up with a 4wd Mini that looks like the elephant man. It's being sold by a family friend because his wife is ill and can't drive it, got a fantastic deal... :oops:0

Cheeky bastards at WH Smith wanted to charge me 30 notes for reading specs. There is surely a Euroshop in Spain.0

Morning folks,
Not a great night's kip, but was sound asleep when the alarm went off. I hate that, the ride in woke me up a little as it was rather fresh. Picked up a wheel sucker riding through a very foggy Bushy Park, he let out a yelp when I had to brake suddenly for a spaniel running around in the path. Funnily enough he kept his distance after that. Rather busy this morning as all the big account customers get their orders in at the beginning of the month. So why am I on here then?
onwards and upwards...0 -

Yeah Monday
Too icy to do a drive/commute so I parked on the other side of Chester and walked accross - beter then nothing and avoids the traffic on the way home
Later is just dads walking taxi as I drop the eldest off at youth club0 -
Ciao
Lovely single speed ride in on Spinergy equipped s/s, all jobs for the day done so going to grab something to eat and then hit the gym before pedalling home.
Then family chores. Love it.

Last week was the nadir of my professional career to date. Spent 70 hours fixing up someone else's GMFU of a warehouse solution design that does almost nothing properly and everything else mind-bogglingly badly. Had one day at home before being sucked back into this for 2 more days.
I have been drinking extra wine to help ease the pain, but somehow that's no longer working. Feel asleep in a stupor last night but woke up 3 hours later stone motherless sober worrying about how to fix this POS.
Other than that it was just another Monday.Open One+ BMC TE29 Seven 622SL On One Scandal Cervelo RS0 -

Decent pedal in this morning - cold but dry. It woke me up properly at least. This is going to be a good month - long weekend in Italy next weekend, skiing end of month. Then second round of the gravity fun trips next month. I'm on a roll - apart from work this week."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." And now its started pisssing down.
FFS, I've had enough of this place. I'm off somewhere warm. If they will let me.Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

T'Noon
Usual day of attempting to fix things senior people rolled out thinking they would be a good idea. Spent the morning hunting online for a wiper bung for the rear of my car. Much harder than it sounds but think ive got one that'll fit.
Rest of the day to be spent avoiding the toilets as none of the urinals work an all but one cubicle is useable (rest have broken seats). Couple hundred guys only able to use the one loo, im thinking festival porta loo scenario so may just go in the corner somewhere.0 -
