Bottom Bracket cable guide bolt

Hi,

I have an 06 S-Works frameset and i have worn through the plastic cable guide under the bb causing extremely sloppy shifting.

I have a replacement cable guide however i cannot remove the old one. The bolt is spinning freely however I am unable to remove it.

Any help would be appreciated

    Pull it out with pliers and cut new thread 1 size larger. M4> M5

    Is it a carbon frame? If so could be that the captive nut has come loose in the BB shell. Take the BB out and see it you can access the captive fixing, secure it with a small spanner/needle nose pliers while unscrewing the cable guide fixing screw from below.
