I need a Campagnolo compatibe freehub for a Fulcrum Racing Quattro (2013)

Now then,

I hope someone can help me because any Google searching I do simply muddies the waters.

I have a pair of Fulcrum Racing Quattro that I bought brand new in 2013. They have a Shimano freehub. I want to move them onto a bike on which I run Campagnolo (10sp), so the plan is to install a Campagnolo compatible freehub.

However... try as I might to get a definitive result from Google or from product descriptions at online retailers, I am still none the wiser as to which freehub I need to order.

I asked Wiggle today - using the chat function - lad was helpful, but needed to know if the wheels have 12mm or 17mm axles. I haven't had them apart to know first hand and I certainly can't find the answer anywhere.

Any help is much appreciated. To summarise: I'm looking for a Campagnolo compatible (10sp) freehub for a 2013 Fulcrum Racing Quattro.

The lad at Wiggle is right. Campag/Fulcrum freehubs are for lower end 12mm steel axles or higher end 17mm alloy axles. You need to know which version fits your wheels. To do, that you have to remove the freehub/axle assembly and it will be visually obvious.

I would contact Malcolm at thecycleclinic.co.uk who sells both types and should be able to advise.

You need the 17mm version. So basically any freehub from a campag or fulcrum higher end wheelset will do. Theyre around €60 on ebay for 10spd only version.

Have you considered using a compatible cassette from Ambrosio? Fits a Shimano hub and suits a Campag group.

I have one which was for a set of Fulcrum Racing 3s which I never converted in the end and sold the wheels so it's brand new. Drop me a PM if you're interested in it.

The quattro's use the campagnolo fh buu015 freehub for 17mm axles. My website listing gives a comprehensive guide to what they fit. I had to do this because as the op has found i could not find such a list anywhere else.

The fulcrjm and campagnolo part is identical but the fulcrum part costs more.
