Hi , I have read that 9/10spd cassettes both fit the free hub without a spacer, so what is the difference, is it sprocket thickness or spacer thickness or a combination of the two ? nothing is straightforward with Campy.

    Both spacers and sprockets are different thickness.

    Both 9 and 10 speed cassettes fit the same hub . What could simpler?

    What's more logical than 10 sprockets with thinner spacers are the same widt as 9 sprockets with matching wider spacers?
    100% sound engineering.
