But some things change quite a lot.
Since I was a regular on this forum I've got married, had a kid, started training for a new career and I'm moving out of London.

Still riding a Kaffenback though.

    No, I was not inside!
I did have to go to court though. Road rage. Some nutter decked me and ran over my bike (destroying the Kaffenback). I got my bike replaced (and a cheeky upgrade to TRP HYRDs) but nothing else. Maybe I should change my surname to Vine?

I'm moving to Letchworth Garden City in a few weeks. It's going to be weird not living in London, but I'll still be mostly working there so I'll still get my fix of pollution.

I need to pass three exams for my new career and I passed the second one today so I'm a happy chappy. Time for a pint or two, methinks.

I don't believe that. The car would have come off worse than the Kaffenback

But did you move to letchworth?

Moving out of London is a good thing, but if you then have to commute in every day... then not so good after all

The London commute is a temporary measure.
I plan to do less schools and more SUDs (the lorry driver stuff) which takes me all over the place in the short to medium term, do local schools in the medium term (even though the pay is shockingly low) and in the medium to long term I'll be doing the new stuff which is local and pays significantly more.

Did anyone see the news on Saturday morning? There was a representative of the Road Haulage Association talking about the current spike in cycling deaths and he mentioned the SUD (Safer Urban Driving) courses that I do. There is talk of a similar course being rolled out to bus and taxi drivers too. Lets hope, eh?

When I move, come to Letchworth for dinner of my homebrew. I call it Sweaty Bib Shorts. It's quite tangy.

Kaffenbacks are bomb proof; Moving out of the big smoke is the best thing i ever did too. I see 0 Cars for the first 7 miles of my commute, with only ducks, cows, sheep, geese and pheasants for company.
