Hey Guys as the subject states, wanted to ask if anyone has put a PowerTap G3 hub on a Shimano RS11 Rim, or knows if it is compatible.

My bike is a 2015 Cannondale Synapse Carbon 105 with a BB30 (non disc brake type).

Thanks in advance,

Lachy

Compatibility will be simple how many spoke holes on each. No reason why not I guess, other than it seems somewhat odd to use a (presumably already used) rim from a low budget factory wheel on a pretty pricey hub.

Cheers guys, my thoughts exactly, might take the opportunity to upgrade the rim at the same time. Any suggestions?

Plenty of good rims around. There is a lot of discussion on the handbuilt wheel thread. Depends on your weight, intended use, requirements etc... However, there are some very good all-rounder road rims that will suit a wide range of uses, like the Archetype and DT RR440. Kinlin rims seem to get a good following too for price/quality/performance.

OK great thanks I'll see what I can find online, not too many well stocked bike shops here in Hong Kong!

    Cheers
