Kids and luggage

I'm just kitting out my old MTB (Santa brought me a new one) as kind of kid friendly hybrid bike. I've got road tyres, a rack and child seat fitted. I'm wanting to get out lots with my 2 year old this spring and summer.
I'm wondering if anyone can recommend and luggage that would be suitable for carrying things like nappies, wipes, snacks etc. Nothing large.
I was thinking about something that fastens to the handlebars. A rucksack would get in the way and be in his face.

Thanks oxoman, I think i've come to the same conclusion. The Topeak bag looks to fit the bill.0

I used to hang a small bag (and a bucket and spade) off the back of the child seat.............~~~~~~Sustrans - Join the Movement~~~~~~0

I use a childs rucksack off the back of the child seat. They usually have the arm straps attached with a velcro tab.
With the tag-along panniers are great.0
