To be fair to Cannondale they've only taken part in TdU, Cadel's Ocean thing, and VCV. A bit surprised that they didn't make more of an effort in Aus given their part-Aussie sponsor but hey ho...

I've got a major stake in their Classics season so just hoping that the team is busy training away and will be in fine form in a few weeks time (and manage to sort out Sep's mechanicals)...

Apologies...it's just that I have absolutely no idea what "UCI registered road race categorised .1 or above" means. My problem, nothing to do with how it is written!

It's generally any race that a World Tour team is eligible to enter with some exceptions which aren't UCI registered - for example the criterium they have before the Tour Down Under

Dumoulin the Smaller outsprinted my man Vichot to register a win for AG2R.

We're down to the final four: Astana, Bora, Cannondale, Dimension Data

So everyone is looking to Nibali, Sagan, a Red Wine/Bass, or Cavendish to register a result.

Oh, yeah. I'm very slow on the untake sometimes.

You can take Dimension Data off the list now, Rich.

A question for Rich, do we count Dmitry Gruzdev's win in the Asian Championships ITT as a Astana win? If so, then only Cannondale-Drapac are left without a win so far this year.

No. He was riding for Kazakhstan.

So it's still Cannondale v Astana

Good. I wasn't minded to count it as an Astana win either.

They did when Sagan won Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne.

Cannondale won a race. So Astana are the 'winners' for 2017.

That's actually a bit of a turn up for the books. On both counts.
It's only a bit of sport, Mun. Relax and enjoy the racing.

Fuglsang's win today means Astana don't do the double. Ag2r are the last team to get a World Tour win.

Every team now has a victory at World Tour level, which is nice.
