Boardman FS Pro back up to £1500 (from £1200) and Voodoo Bizango £625 (from £600) for example. Do you reckon this is one of their short term full price periods before further discounts? It's right at the end of the model year too...

Welsh girls are the worst (read best) I've ever encountered. Filthbags

Are Boardman on a 2 year product cycle?

    Either down or moist?
  • The price hike didn't seem to be site-wide when I looked last night, but £625 for the Bizango is the most enpensive I've ever seen it, makes the Trott Mountain at £430 even more of a steal!

If the Bizango comes down I might be tempted to try one to see what all the fuss is about with 29ers

they do indeed run on a 2 year cycle between models for the boardman & voodoo lines at least ( probably the same for all the other brands they sell too )

i say this owning a 2014 bizango that ran up until they inverted its colours ( among many other changes ) for 2016, also got a 2014 model boardman that stayed current until 2016 when they refreshed the range ( & made me buy another 2 nice shiny bikes from the 2016 range as i liked the colours of em & did not have one of that type of bike  - well technically 3 bikes but 1 was another voodoo cos it had silly sized tyres :D )

fx reset by retailers? With a weak pound parts e.g. group sets etc are going to be more expensive. i bought a canyon on the 4th of Jan, the same model is £400 pound more expensive today.

With the pound off 20% compared to the pre economic suicide vote, it was only a matter of time before prices started to creep up.
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

    Laura Trott?

The claimed weight of the Bizango is 13.2Kg, so given the Trott is 1x11 and 27.5" wheels, I'd guess somewhere in the 12.5-13Kg ballpark.

Think today is last day of this cracking payday price that has been there over the weekend, seems crazy there is still not a single review on the Halfords site.

I'll let you know this weekend when my wife picks hers up. (Bought for £342 with BC discount!)
  • How the heck was this bargain not picked up in the http://www.bikeradar.com/gear/article/b ... les-49061/ article?

It knocks that women's Trek Cali S Disc out of the ballpark!

Because it's a lazy article and probably got the details/links directly from the sellers.

I bet the level of research was between 0% and 0.03%.

LT MTB1 back up to £390... As of 5pm in store. I'll weight it tomorrow if I get a chance.

Lots of fluctuating prices recently, seem to spend most my time changing the things lol.

Are the Boardman bikes worth a look? I'm on the hunt for something better than the Raleigh Misceo I have. Boardman seem ok from what I've seen.

    Thanks.

Some may already know this due to my posts, but I'm not really bothered what others think. :) They seem well specced, so will take a look at the weekend.

    Thanks, very helpful. Before pedals?
  • With pedals, it comes with alloy ones.
