Pike Help!

I'm hoping someone on here might be able to help me!
I've just bought a pair of 2014 Pike RCT3's. They are in really good condition, but decided i'd give them the full service (including charger damper) due to their age and that I didn't know if the upgraded seal head was installed (it wasn't!)
Performed the full service of both the damper and the rest of the forks and reassembled, but despite meticulous bleeding of the damper (absolutely no air coming out of it before installation), there doesn't appear to be much difference between fully open and fully closed positions (certainly nowhere near as much as the Rev RCT3s currently installed). The lockout lever also goes stiffer as you progress through the 3 settings to being quite stiff. Does anyone else find this is the case; am I expecting them to be too much like my Revs?
Whilst I was doing a bit of digging around, I found a number of mentions that when changing the cartridge seal head you should changed the cartridge tube as well! There is no mention of this ins the service guides, so this hasn't been replaced - should I have?
Finally, I've seen a lot of posts on various forums discussing the success of the revised damper seal head and that they still fail, mainly due to the amount to movement on the piston; i've seen mention of a revised custom head by NS Dynamics - this appears to have a lot more support for the piston as well as multiple seals. Has anyone any experience of this mod, or any other?
I was hoping spending the money upgrading to some Pikes would mean less hassle....it appears I may be wrong!

find someone like mojo or tf tuned and get yhem to sort it, then get some advice and keep it for the future“I am a humanist, which means, in part, that I have tried to behave decently without expectations of rewards or punishments after I am dead.”

mojo won't be able to do shit as they are fox lol
TBH if the fork is still being damped properly and the LSC works I'd forget about it. only time I use the other two settings is when I bed my pads in. If you have fucked it up then send to TFtuned for a service I suppose0
