Canyon Ultimate CF SL 9.0 or BMC SLR02 Ultigra?

hi,

im in the process of buying a new bike. I wonder if someone have an experience about one or both of thrm.

    I think you would find very little difference in the bikes, they are both good bikes. I have an Ultimate CF SL 9.0 SL and it is a lovely bike but no more enjoyable or fun to ride than my cheaper PX bike, get the one you like best.

    TBH with the way Canyon have been re price, customer service, supply dates etc I would not get one now. Rose bikes seem to be a better option for price and customer service and they do seem to be well built with good owner reviews.

    Would be the BMC for me, they will both be great bikes but after the bad press about Canyon have had I wouldn't take the risk. Plus BMCs get great reviews as well

    Canyon has been known for poor delivery times etc, but as of late, they have been much better, and their estimated shipping times tend to be spot on.

    BMC's are great bikes, pro level caliber, race winning machines. However, you'll pay a good grand more for a BMC with the same spec as the Canyon...

    I prefer how the Canyons look too, but that's completely personal taste.

    I agree that the Canyon is having problem with their delivery but i dont mind waiting 1-2 weeks for a new bike that im going to use for the nexrät 5-7 years.

    Canyon have a better wheels which cost one more grand more than the BMC.

    I like how the BMC look like but the problem is with this years colours. The ugly colour of BMC SLR02 Ultegra cannt be unnoticed.

    But the question is, does BMC have really a better RAM that adjust the 1 grand price different?

    Never tested both of them so i will really appreciate at input

    1-2 weeks? Good luck with that. Lol.

    I like both but have a soft spot for the SLR.

    Me too but the new yellow colour is very ugly

    The SLR02 is a great bike, As is the Canyon. shame about BMC's colour schemes this year, but the bike will not leave you disappointed.

    From the stories bandied about on here and other forums, I would say that 1-2 months delay on top of the delivery time given by Canyon would be a win, that's what stopped me from ordering from them, great looking bikes but you wait to get one and the customer service inst great apparently?

    As for the BMC, I actually like the yellow, I must be the only one :)
