Garmin GSC10 takes ages to connect

My Garmin GSC10 has just started taking ages to connect to my 800, up to 10 minutes or so.

Was working perfectly before, connecting in a couple of revolutions.

Unit is 2 years old and it has coincided with the cold snap so i'm thinking battery unless anyone has any other ideas?

    battery sounds about right if not tried a new battery.

    batteries dont like colder weather & older batteries even less so ( thus cold snaps kill many cars that were working spot on the day before etc )


    i would at least try a new battery & see how it goes.
