shoot sleep, which is rubbish as I've got a busy day shooting and drinking

The eldest is helping with the beating, so some good father/son time - which is great as he is getting close to turning into a Kevin type teenager

A traditional slow start is being had. Tea has been consumed and I'm considering trying a vertical position. Feels cold out the though. Day of pottering is in order. Might have to kill the neighbours again.

Technically it's no longer Saturday here, but whatever.

Been a scorcher of a week. Rode home (motorbike) in 37 deg C the other day, at 6pm.

Today was pretty nice despite the heat. Started with a massage, then coffee and some very fine Portuguese pastries. Pool time. Lunch. A visit to the shops, more coffee. More pool time. Drinks. Dinner. Walk. More drinks.

    Morning,

Physio this morning, seems happy enough with progress, got to keep on with the exercises and retaped my leg before telling me I could finally give a flat half hour ride a go. Finally! So went and done a little easy one, nothing massive just under 7 miles. But man did it feel good to be back out there and on the bike, the knee is aching somewhat but miles away from where it was before, perhaps if I keep up with the exercises and maybe ride every other day this week I might be in a position where I can start commuting to work again, now that would be bliss.

Gf has gone to Cornwall for the weekend with her sisters for her xmas present, lucky sods got upgraded to their own beach side apartment right on the beach, photos look awesome. So looking like a quiet night in for me.

Busy-ish day. Taken a car load of stiff to the tip nearly, got hands frozen off unblocking the pond pump & filter. Checked skis don't need edges sharpening for next month, now down at Halfords buying a new battery for the car. Waitrose later for supplies and Saturday girls. The fun never ends.

Spent the day at the country house painting interior walls and varnishing everything else that didn't move, back is killing me now.

Back at the coastal house now and feet up enjoying the last of the sunshine, mug of tea on the way, a really nice Douro tinto breathing in the kitchen, wondering whether I can get a glass of wine delivered to the west wing to save me getting up from this comfy sofa :D

...and he has more than 1 car. (technically speaking 1.5 cars but that's just being pedantic) and more bicycles than you can shake a stick at.

Bollox, bollox, bollox, bollox. Went to service the machinery and write a service schedule as I have a buyer. Was about to leave thinking everything is all A ok and noticed a rather squint looking shaft protruding from the baler. Turns out I have a broken swing axle on the exit door. Buyer is arranging transport for Friday. I have to get the old thing out, the new one from Cornwall in and welded in situ (before it goes). Squeaky bum time...

Sheeet I'm bored. Decided not to drink until 18 March and wish I had held back on watching Montalbano until tonight.

Would whisky count as "not drinking"?

    Only if you add water.

Mrs Pinno say's: "Why March the 18th, it's a bit of a random date?"

Mrs Pinno asks too many questions

Meeting up with an old friend, for the Italy game at Murrayfield. Not drinking is not an option.

You should make it until 14th March and make it a triple celebration.

When you say "two houses", you really mean one is the long term prison and the other is the day-release correctional facility, yes?
