Running Shimano M445 hydraulic discs. Pulled front wheel out and they clamped shut. Easy to prise apart?? Also rear brake you have to pull lever back all way yo handle before brakes bite. Easy fix??

Try using a very thin screwdriver or tyre lever if you can and be careful. The rear sounds like it needs a bleed.

As I like tools I have a piston press tool in my toolbox.

Why did it clamp shut once you take wheel out you shouldn't press the brake at all.

A table (not kitchen - a bit risky) knife is great for getting pads apart without damage. I will assume you pulled the lever while the wheel was out, a common rookie mistake.

If the brakes have not yet bedded in it is quite normal for the lever travel to be a bit long - how long have you been using them?
