So, an old friend of mine has just come out publically

Before i say too much else, I consider myself to be tolerant and open to people's lifestyle choices.

Live and let live is my mantra, black, white, gay, straight, disabled or able bodied. I would aim to treat all as equals and hope that others would do the same.

Now my mate, I've known him for 30+ years, former punk rocker, eco warrior, successful dance music artist and producer (and Glastonbury headliner) married with kids, a very cool yet normal, down to earth straight up fella.

This weekend he springs a surprise announcement via the medium of facebook, I'm sure some closer to him knew this already but a total shock to me. As above I try not to judge but he's become a Morris Dancer. I'm not sure that I will be able to maintain a normal friendship with him now that I know this shocking fact.

Am i being out of order?

So being black is banned but being a Morris dancer isn`t ! who knew ?.
