Whilst I'm an early starter at the weekend I totaly agree during the week. There is nothing better than coming home from work in the sun, throwing on shorts and a top and going out for a spin. It makes it totaly acceptable to crack a cold beer when you get home.
No so much when your ride finishes at 10.30am.Advocate of disc brakes.0 -
Evans Ride It are usually these times, which seem typical:
Start Times
Registration - 08:00-10:00
Short & Medium - 08.30 - 10:00
Long - 08.30 - 09:30
Event Closes - 17:000 -
Those start times seem absolutely fine.
The OP shouldn't take up time trialling or Ironman Triathlon.0 -

If it's closed road it's so they can reopen the roads ASAP.
Otherwise it's so they have no traffic so there's less chance of drivers complaining and getting the event cancelled.0
