Lincoln Grand Prix 2017

Anyone with experience of this event?

Son is keen to go for it as he lives in Nottingham so not far to go. He did the Cymru Etape 2 years ago and fancies another event. Any observations please?

    Worth clarifying what you mean? If it's the sportive you are referring to, then it's probably better to ask in the sportive forum. Unless your lad is already E/1/2 he is unlikely to get an entry into the GP anyway.

    I don't know what you mean by E/1/2 as I'm a general touring cyclist and have not raced or been in group events. I will find the sportive forum and ask there. Cheers.

    Lincoln GP Road Race is a prem and riders need an Elite, 1st or 2nd category race license. If he's not a racer (and a good one at that), he'll probably not get a ride even if he enters. Considering you're unsure what E,1,2 means, I assume the sportive is what you're after!
