Hi! Can somebody tell me about this Wheeler Falcon Trail 42 bike:
http://www.wheelerworldwide.com/products.php?func=p_list&pc_parent=57&p_id=464&pc_type=c-1&year=2016 ?

Is this a good option for a mountain bike?
What similar bikes do you reccomment, for example from Spezialized? :D

How much are they asking for it?

Never heard of it before, has mostly 'just about good enough' parts, the XC30 is a bit twangy and damping isnt great, likewise with the basic Monarch shock, with the geometry and 3x gearing I would call it an XC and not a trail bike as well.

Hard to suggest alternatives without knowing your budget.
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

With no idea of price, and as they don't seem to be sold in the UK, it's impossible to say. Looks like an ok bike. Depending.

It'd have to be cheap to be worth buying but then you'd be better off buying a decent hardtail.
  • Thanks for the answers!
The price on this bike is approx 2000£ and that is about my buget.

For £2000 that's pretty poor, where are you based?

For that price it's a real sack of crap.
This is better for £500 less

I'm in Iceland so it can sometimes be hard to ship. But Thanks again, I will consider this.

CRC ship pretty much worldwide, have a look at the Vitus range and come back for suggestions!
