Definitely a tad on the nippy side. Had to drive in as I'm taking the girl to another appointment later, can't say I was sorry as it was -2.5'C at one point driving in and still dark. Rang the customer in Oz to apologise for yesterday's screw up with his order and there was a message on his answerphone saying as it was so hot he'd closed early and would remain shut tomorrow. Mind you 40'C is too hot for me. He then sent me a photo of the beer he was drinking at the cricket ground. I don't mean to wish my life away, but I'm looking forward to spring.
Today being Fryday a visit to the cafe is in order. Can't take the Mrs to the pub later as we are out for my sister's 50th.
    Onwards and upwards...

    Morning

Might just be an early lunch time finish if I play my cards right today so keeping my fingers crossed for that.

Then it's home for a bit of fettling, didn't like the bar tape I had on so chucking on the old trusty lizard skins, just goes to show that just because there's a deal on something you should necessarily go for it lol, and then fit some new pedals.

Might just pick up a wagamamas on the way home as a treat, gf is on night shift so she'll never know.

Longish commute is a Friday pub night fail - so I will try for an early dart as a third dry night is a bit much

Bright side after two days of reasonable commutes I've got back into the six music breakfast show.
  • It`s Friday and I`m off to work to observe a section called Frost !! spooky !
Trek,,,, too cool for school ,, apparently
  • Morning cup tippers, alarm went off at 6, gym by 6.40.

    Wanted to come by 6.44.

Nutrition overload with a fruit smoothie followed by tea and now in work and looking forward to the weekend as we have dinner at a celeb chef type place on Saturday.

Warmer than yesterday today, was a barmy 2c so no frost, joys of living in a slight valley I guess.
Managers come in today by way of a change, he lives 10 minutes away from work but his car "broke down".
Anywho lunch has been chosen I shall be feasting on cow and preparing hopefully for a weekend of stripping all the bikes an rebuilding them seeing as I cant ride.
  • Should have been logging later but my IT expert of a brother in law is transfering data on to MrsHDs new work PC this afternoon so I'll have to wear a jumper instead.

We probably shouldn't ask what you were doing in the gym then :)

Time passing a bit slowly as it's Friday but I've got loads on this weekend anyway and quite a lot of it jobs...

  • For a "not a nerd" type of guy I've just managed to cross over the drive of one pc into that of another and copy shed loads of data... with a little bit of help granted but I managed it!

Afternoon folks. Early start for me but late posting on here. Out of surgery after further work on elbow injury from last summer. Daughter on the mend. Looking forward to food and coffee and being spoilt by the wife for a change. And yes it was bloody cold earlier.
Do you have one of those non straightenable arms thanks to cycling too?
Hope the op was a success.

I remember my dad waiting in the front garden pretending he had a reason to be coincidently holding an axe when my sister's first date escorted her home :D And after some not so friendly advice, the spotty oik was never seen again. Good luck Stevo.

Shouldn't be too hard. They live too far apart to meet without needing a lift apart from maybe at the train station after school kicking out time. And both at schools that give them sh1t loads of work.
