Starbike.com doesn't meet obligations

Hello.

Moderators, please move this post to the respective forum, because I didn't find the theme with internet shops' recalls (if it's needed).

I ordered two DT Swiss XRC 300 Carbon Rims from Starbike.com on 24th December, 2016 and paid on the same date. The status of the item was "ready for sending in 4-6 days" at that time.

Today the seller wrote the following letter which I answered to:

So, Starbike.com doesn't want to meet its obligations. Moreover, the seller responds slowly and there is no possibility to communicate adequately with them.

When I found this offer from Starbike.com, I chose between Crank Brothers Carbon wheels and these DT Swiss rims. So I missed a very good Christmas offer for Crank Brothers wheels which are now sold out.

I also ordered the German Answer Flame fork on the 27th November (!), claimed to be delivered 2-3 weeks after ordering, but still haven't received the delivery notification from Starbike.com. On my claim where the fork is, Starbike keeps silence.

I'll infrom you about further development of events.

Nope and be thankful you missed out on the special CB cheese wheels.

They don't have them, cancel the order and move on. It's likely stock updates might be slow on xmas eve.

And now they haven't got any. Move on. It's not the end of the world.
Superstar Components have got a good sale on at the moment if that's any help.

Sometimes stock levels are wrong. Do you want them to magic you a set out of nowhere ?

You've already wasted too much time on this. Did you join specifically to complain ?

This reminds me how unreasonable people can be. My son had an order placed with his company on Friday night 23rd December to go to Paris. There are no post collections until Tuesday 27th. On Monday evening 26th he gets an email to ask why there has been no delivery.
Now where's that "Get Out of Crash Free Card"
