Looking for some buying advice

Hi, new member looking to buy a mountain bike primarily for getting to work but I'd also like to go cycling through local parks and woodlands as well. It would be a 2-3 miles commute to my place of work and I've no idea what's ideal for my needs or has a decent spec etc.
I have seen a second hand bike locally that's going for around £125, it an M-trax graben. I've posted a link below from a stockists site with the spec -

I can't seem to find any reviews on here or any other bike forums, only reviews from customers who've purchased from stockists. If this isn't any good any other suggestions? I've read that the b'twin rock riders from decathlon are decent and I also like the look of the Kona Fire 2016 model. Also going to find out if my employer is enrolled on the cycle scheme for if I'd be buying new.
Thanks in advance

For the money it's reasonable, it's not a really a mountain bike, but looks like one and will handle what you intend to use it for just fine.
For budget end bikes the go to outlets are decathlon and Halfords.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
