Just booked a last-minute trip to Barcelona for a few days, leaving tommorrow..
Any tips for riding in the area? Won't have time to do much research. Strava has some suggestions:

I'll be based in the Gràcia area in the north of the city. Bringing my own bike.
The weather looks like it's going to be on the cool side, but perfect for cycling..

Just wondering though, if the night time temperatures are getting down to 3 or 4C in Barcelona itself, does that mean there is likely to be an overnight frost in the hills away from the coast, and could that result in the odd patch of ice in a few spots? Don't fancy any nasty surprises..

Gracia is perfect, so you are quickly out of town... well, you HAVE TO do the climb to Monserrat, although it's about 80 miles to go there and back via a decent route. There are plenty of smaller hills are you head NW out of Gracia

Yes, Cataluna is often overlooked, but it's one of the best cycling destinations in Europe, with a range of testing climbs and magnificent roads and views. Winters are mild, although I once witnessed snow in Barcelona. I suspect the roads don't get wet enough for ice to be a problem... that of course has exceptionsleft the forum March 20230

There are some great roads along the seafront north towards Sitges, just don't look at the Strava segment names in Sitges!
The seafront roads are winding and have lots of short gradients, lots of cyclists as well so the traffic behaves quite sensibly.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -
Nearer central Barcelona there is the small climb upto Tribidabo Monastery and fairground.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0
