Most manufacturers include similar warnings in their manuals today.
There's been loads of threads on this topic so have a look for a few, here's one from a while back

I think the general consensus is to avoid full on out of the saddle sprints on the turbo, especially if using a carbon frame.0 -
All the pro teams now warm up and down on turbos.0

Same warning on my wife's aluminium Endurace. It's now permanently on a turbo and has been fine on both a 'wheel on' turbo and more recently a Kickr0

Yup, I'd agree with the above. Can be used but if it breaks whilst sprinting then warranty claim would be void.0

I'd think that common sense should prevail.
I'm 61KG and have my carbon summer bike on the turbo permanently through winter - a kickr snap. It does thousands of miles per year on it. I sprint on it and give it hell. All has been fine.
If you're 200KG and rock all over the place then it might not last that long. It might be fine though?
YMMV.
Perhaps just buy an eBay dog to build up for turbo work?Ribble Stealth/SRAM Force
