I'm making the journey down to Lee Valley to try out the outdoor road circuit and just wondered if there are shower facilities that we can use as i'm travelling from 2 hours away (by car). Also, are you free to use all 3 sections of the circuit shown here or just one of them?

thanks all

They have changing rooms and showers.
Best to check circuit availability on the calendar as it changes day to day...

Awesome, thanks Scoobers. yeah i checked the calander early, should be good for tomorrow :)
  • You should be good to use all three sections there. That's the route that I've always done, it's bang on 1 mile per lap.

I don't want to spoil your day out, but it's only a 1-mile strip of tarmac so don't set your expectations too high! Personally I wouldn't drive 2 hours to ride on it unless it was a specific event.

Either way, make sure your gears are working smoothly, because it's mostly rolling up-and-downs and will turn into near-constant faffing with gears if they aren't dialled.

Cheers BuckMulligan. Spot on advice. i went today, its decent and all three sections were open. It was on route to Westfield so gave me a bit of time away from the family (and shoppers!). Was pretty quiet but got 4 hours car parking, 3 hours cycling, changing rooms and shower for £4 can't argue with that.

For anyone using Di2 make sure you're fully charged, i used gears a fair bit.
