12mm to 10mm rear axle conversion

Merry Christmas everyone, haven't been on for a while so hope everyone's been well.
So here's my concern...
Running 12mm thru axle pro2 in rear wheel, I want the same rear to run a 10mm thru axle for another bike.
Can I just change the end caps or do I need a complete axle kit?

Axle kit needed I think for pro 2 hubs, the pro 2 evo just switch end caps.0
