4 x bike info

Hi I am currently riding a 29er but am finding it a bit of a pain to get round some of the tight trails I have been riding of late. So I am thinking of changing my bike . I am interested in finding out more about 4x bikes there do sent seem to be much information about them online can you buy them or do people by frame and build up. The other option would be to go for a 27 and half or is it 650b. The riding I am doing is purely trails so don't need a jump bike although only having one chain ring at the front dose seem a good option like the jump bikes have. Dose anybody know any good websites where I can find out more . Many thanks.

    Duplicate thread, I've posted in the other one!
    Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.
