Not really a road bike but its more road bike than anything else.

Didn't really need another SS but it was such a good deal and N+1 dictates..

I have made a few changes namely cold setting the rear to be a little wider as I plan to fit a Alfine 8 hub wheel and set it up as a 1x8 , Currently got some road wheels in with a Superstar SS kit. Still got the original wheels which are 50mm chrome clinchers, they look fab but weigh a ton.

Changed the bar tape and added the new plastic saddle which despite appearances is actually quite comfortable. I need to adjust the rear mudguard so it sits a bit lower and maybe change out the whitewalls for some 25c or 28c gatorskins (the frame can take 30c) but seems fine for now - I did put some flataway strips in tho for a bit of added resilience.

Setup as a 46x18 at the mo which suits me just fine.

Hehe, hipster... Looks pretty nice actually.

Yep those 50mm chrome things are vanity only - unbelievably heavy.

I know its a bit hipster dufus which is not really my style (I have zero style) - I won't confirm to the standard skinny jeans and racing cap I am still going to wear 'normal' non cool work clothes when riding.

Yep mine came in at 2kg for the front and 2.5kg for the rear! Also in a side wind they are pretty scary, The current wheels are boggo Btwin Aero 32h but come in at around 2kg for the set so a good chunk of weight saving.

I think to be truly hipster I would have to bypass safety (for the sake of vanity) and remove the brakes and go 'fixed' with fat toe straps. The mudguards would defo have to go too - an 'ass saver' would be the hipster thing. Too old and fat!
